October 2021 Networking Lunch
October 12 @ 11:30 am - 1:00 pm CDT$35 – $40
What do men’s dress shoes and toilet paper have in common?
If this sounds like an Aggie joke, it kinda is. The answer to that odd question is — one very special Aggie, Patrick McGinty ’15.
Patrick has a knack for problem-solving. See a problem. Solve it.
While shopping for shoes to wear to a wedding, Patrick was frustrated by the lack of quality dress shoes available at a reasonable price point. He had to settle for a cheap pair, and they fell apart a few months later. That was a problem.
Solution? He spent several months searching for the perfect factory and launched William Ross, a direct-to-consumer men’s dress shoe company, to produce the best shoes in the world for under $200.
Next? Patrick went to work as an Operations Leader for H-E-B.
That was late 2019.
And we all know what happened a few months later: the COVID-19 pandemic lock-down. Big problems.
And a toilet paper crisis.
Now you see the connection.
Patrick McGinty’s life has truly taken some transformative turns. Always with Aggie Core Values as his guide.
And he’s not done yet. His next chapter takes him back to College Station.
