Texas Monthly recently recognized Dr. Rebecca Fischer as one of "2021 Best Things in Texas" for her efforts "to give Texans - and the rest of the world - accurate guidance on the pandemic." Dr. Fischer is an Assistant Professor of Epidemiology with the Texas A&M University School of Public Health. She has degrees in epidemiology, biology, evolution, biostatistics, and tropical medicine. Dr. Fischer serves on the Texas A&M Emergency Management Advisory Group as Chief Epidemiologist for the University and is Co-Director of the TAMU COVID-19 Operations Center. She has been working with the Brazos County Health District to evaluate the current situation and predict how it may evolve. What will life after COVID look like?  Ask Dr. Fischer!
